Shannon Henry Kleiber is an author, newspaper journalist and radio and podcast producer based in Madison, Wisconsin.

She is a senior producer and interviewer for "To the Best of Our Knowledge," a national public radio show from Wisconsin Public Radio and PRX. Shannon was previously a staff writer and columnist for The Washington Post, where she covered technology culture for the Business section. She has written two non-fiction books, “The Dinner Club,” about the dot com boom and bust era, and “On My Honor” about Girl Scouts of the USA founder Juliette Gordon Low.

A three-part series from "To the Best of Our Knowledge" Shannon co-executive produced, “Going for Broke,” about economic inequality in America, won first place in the 2023 National Headliner Awards for best civic/political affairs podcast. The series, created in partnership with the Economic Hardship Reporting Project, where she is a contributing journalist, also won an EPPY from Editor & Publisher and a Gold Award from the National Association of Real Estate Editor Awards.
